6 weeks

We took Turner to the doctor yesterday after he spent all day and most of Monday screaming. I was afraid he had colic, but it turns out it is acid reflux. The doc prescribed Pepcid and we start giving him that tonight . . . thank goodness! I'm pretty exhausted at this point and can't wait for things to get better. The good news is he's growing like a weed. He weighed 11 lbs 11 oz yesterday, he's getting so chunky!

Sunday Tanner and I bought a new treadmill and some other exercise equipment to help us relieve some stress and lose some of our pregnancy weight. Yes, Tanner gained some sympathy pounds! I've heard it happens and it happened to us. Unfortunately, we haven't been able to use it yet since our little guy has been keeping us on our toes. I'm definitely looking forward to getting a good workout in. It'll feel good to be able to get into something other than pants with an elastic waist!

Tanner's mom, stepdad, and brother are coming down Friday and staying until Sunday afternoon. The guys are going deer hunting and I think I'll take advantage of having my mother-in-law here and try to get a few extra things done around the house. I'm sure she won't mind the alone time with her grandson. Sounds like a win - win situation to me!

Take care everyone and be sure to stay warm!
