So it was my first Mother's day this year and Tanner made it very special. On Friday I came home to a dozen red roses and the daycare gave me a coffee mug with flowers in it and a card from Turner. It was really nice. Pawpaw Steinbauer visited on Friday evening and on Saturday I met Sheri for breakfast. One of my massage clients is the pastry chef at Tulipan, a hungarian bakery. We met there for coffee and indulged in some goodies. Turner slept most of the time, but woke up at the end of breakfast and was so good. We headed over to the Everything Rubbermaid store and picked up a few things. Here is a picture of Turner in one of the cars.
After our morning out, Turner and I headed home to meet Tanner. We took him to the mall for the first time and once again he behaved like a little gentleman. We put him in one of the car strollers and pushed him around. He got alot of nice comments from people saying how cute he is. I can never get tired of hearing that!
On Sunday I was once again reminded that I have the best husband in the world. Tanner cleaned the house so I could spend time with Turner. Then he gave me a Mother's day card from him and one from Turner. How cute! He also bought me some body cream that I like from Bath and Body Works and he got me a Willow Tree figurine of a mother holding her son. Sunday was definitely one of the best days ever! Now the pressure is on for Father's day . . . I've already been brainstorming and have a few ideas.

And here is one I took on Mother's day. He's sporting his I love Mommy bib.
