Lots has happened!

So it's been over a month since I've blogged so let me try to sum up what has taken place.

First of all, Tanner has lost a total of 35 lbs. He looks great and still wants to lose 20 more! Tanner also turned 30 on the 28th and we celebrated with our families at The Barn Restaurant. It was a really good dinner and I know he really enjoyed seeing everyone.

We also found out a couple of weeks ago that Turner will need surgery to correct his eyes. As you can tell by most of his pictures his eyes turn in. Fortunately, they aren't crossed at all times; it seems like it happens alot when he's tired. Either way the external eye muscles are stretched and need surgically tightened. The optometrist said the surgery will be best if done when he is a year old and it is a very low risk surgery. There won't be an incision, but Turner will need to be under anesthesia for the procedure. I'm not looking forward to it, but I am looking forward to helping him get better.

Here are a few pics we've taken over the last couple of weeks.
