Our little Turner is 9 months old! It has gone by pretty fast and I have to admit it's getting easier the older he gets, but I'm sure that will change once he is mobile. We have started child-proofing the house since he has been scooting around on his belly. Turner always wants to be standing. He even stood in his little car when I pushed him around this weekend. What a little dare-devil! He's been jibber-jabbering alot lately and drooling less. Hopefully, the teeth will come through soon. His hair is filling in, but when we took him for his pictures yesterday you still can't see it on film. It is so white!
I am going to check tomorrow to see if he might be able to get in for surgery next Monday. If there aren't any cancellations, he'll have to wait until the 9th of September. I can't wait to get this behind us, there are so many mixed emotions. On a lighter note, Turner has his first playdate on Saturday with my friend Gina's son Luke and my friend Jen's son Cooper. It should be so fun to watch them interact. I can't wait! I think I'll probably have more fun than he will! I'll try to take some good pics to post.
Other than that, there isn't much going on. I have been running alot since I'll be participating in the Akron Marathon on a relay team. I'm looking forward to that, plus, I feel so much better getting out and exercising. Tanner is still working out and running. He plans to do a 5k by the end of the summer. I'm so proud!
People have already started asking us when we plan on having another child . . .the answer to that is I don't know. We are really enjoying Turner right now and don't have the desire (or energy) for another baby. I'm surprised we've been asked that so soon!
That's all I have for today, take care everyone and thanks for reading my blog!
