Back to the music shall we?
2003 seems like a blur since it was the year of my wedding. Lots of planning and bringing together of relatives that haven't spoken in years. Ex's, stress, lots of presents too, can't forget the presents. Oh, and a honeymoon in Maui. Yes!
I wasn't the only one in bridal garb that year. Madonna (a fancy groom) decided to kiss her bride's Britney and Christina causing quite a stir at the VMA's. What was I listening to?
Well, you couldn't attend a bachelorette party that year without Gettin' Low with Lil' John and flashing bedazzled crunk cups filled with crunk juice.
Eminem ditched the blonde hair and went brunette showing his real roots in Eight Mile, loosely based on his life story. I'm still shocked he got Kim Basinger to play his trashy mom. She's pretty hot and Eminem's mom, well. . . not so much.

and whatever happened to Brittany Murphy? I'll have to look her up later. Still can't believe she was the unibrowed chick on Clueless. Total transformation.
Puddle of Mudd told us all about how much she hates him. I loved that tune. Still do. "She Hates Me" is a song I think almost anyone could relate to. I wished Clay Aiken was "Invisible" just like his song suggested. That kid turned into a freak show didn't he? Man.
Hate Anthem of 2003: Headstrong, Trapt
People got beat down when that song came on and I'm pretty sure alot of people hit stuff.
T.A.T.U. brought brought back Britney's schoolgirl look, but threw in lesbians for extra appeal. I did like "All The Things She Said." I caught myself singing that alot just because the chorus is repeated a bajillion times.
Stacy's mom had it goin' on
Coldplay busted onto the scene with "Clocks"
a new band, Maroon 5 made it "Harder to Breathe"
Justin told Britney to "Cry Me a River" ( I loved that video btw)
and another new voice gave me chills. Evanescense. "Bring Me To Life." That chick was badass with the most beautiful vocals, but it still didn't make my favorite song that year.
Even though I was ready to be married and caught up in the lovey dovey partner for life stuff
"Picture" by Kidd Rock featuring Sheryl Crow was getting cranked every single time it played. anywhere. everywhere.
I belted out this song drunk, sober, in company, or solo. I love love this tune.
Song I hated most in 2003: "I Can Only Imagine", MercyMe.
I still get angry thinking about how dumb this song is. I feel kinda bad since this song is about JC and Him, but it SUCKS. Sorry Jesus Freaks. And while I'm at it, Michael W. Smith is a tool.

I LOVE these music posts....do you really remember all those songs? If you do, you have an amazing memory!
Hope you have a great long weekend!
I love the JT video as well...and "get low" still gets me on the dance floor attempting to shake my ass like a black girl (I just look pathetic though, but I don't care!)
