Practical Jokes

I LOVE practical jokes and practical jokers.

A friend of mine decided to move my car the other day. I thought it was so funny. Especially as she described how she stood back and watched me realize my car was gone and then find it in it's new location.

Stuff like that totally makes my day.

It reminds me that we don't have to act like adults all of the time. We can forget to work in the child-like fun stuff every once in awhile and it's nice to be brought back to giggly kiddiness with a friend.

I love when I sneak up on someone and it scares the bejesus out of them. I like when people scare me. It's a good laugh.

I think Halloween is my favorite holiday because I love dressing up and pretending. It's the kid in me. I have alot of kid left in me; too much probably. I love how a themed party makes us feel free from judgement and we can let loose and say things we never thought we would say out loud because we feel like we are somebody else.

Thanks to all of you
that still reach out to those of us
that sometimes forget how fun it is to put adulthood aside.

When I worked at the hospital, Dr, Yoo, our back surgeon would always give me his phone and keys to hold onto while he made rounds. He and I always joked around and he loved to play practical jokes on people. The charge nurse and i ran out to the doctor's parking lot and moved his sweet-ass car to the vacant lot across the street from the doctor's parking. It was hilarious watching him from the window as he searched for his car. After watching him scratch his head and cuss for 10 min, we called his cell phone and played hot/cold with him. He thought is was hilarious once he realized someone hadn't stolen his car. I loved that he was down to earth enough to play along. They did it to my car a week later...so funny!

Halloween is my favorite time of year. I love being scared. It's awesome.

And I love a good laugh. It makes the day so much better. Did I ever tell you the practical joke I played on Gina a few years ago? It's classic. It's for the history books.
