Love Jar

Every once in awhile I get a little mushy / cuddly / emotional / loving / tenderhearted and I try to think of creative ways to let Hubs know how much I care about him. Unfortunately for Hubs, my ideas are in more of a non-sexual way . . . but that doesn't mean they don't eventually lead to a little more fun in the sheets.

I was reading his Men's Health magazine yesterday and I found an article about keeping your passion alive with your mate. (btw, men's magazines . . . WAY better than women's) Anyway, among the suggestions were leaving notes or bringing up something fun that you both shared to recreate a bond that may be getting a bit dull.

Last night I filled an envelope with strips of paper and a pen and I placed them beside 2 empty jars. Then, I wrote out 10 compliments for Tanner and put them in his jar. I went into the living room where Hubs sat on the couch and told him about my 'love jars'. After he laughed a little and rolled his eyes, he just said 'okay' and went back to his TV show.

I'm thinking he is probably assuming the pregnancy is making me a little over-emotional, more dependant, and over-sensitive. He is 100% correct.

I swear to the Holy Mother that if he doesn't participate in my corny love jar idea, the love notes that currently occupy the container will be replaced by his balls.
