17 weeks

Our little man has been keeping me busy the past few weeks. He's had a bad cold for a couple of weeks and just can't shake it. Considering he hasn't been feeling the best, he's still such a happy guy. He's bouncing like crazy in his bouncy-chair and has started grabbing ahold of everything he can and sticks it right in his mouth. We keep a bib on him alot because of all of his drooling he's been doing lately. His doc said he's not teething and it's just a phase babies go through. He continues to grow like a weed. He's almost 16 lbs and is wearing clothing for 6-9 month kids. We're so lucky to have such a big and healthy boy! I'm still breastfeeding our little piggy and it's going well. I didn't plan on doing it this long, but his doc continues to encourage me; atleast through the winter months. He is recognizing faces and smiles alot. In the mornings he loves to "talk" and play. I have changed my work hours to 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. This way I can spend some time with him in the morning before we start our day. It's working out well so far.

Turner will be moving out of his bassonette and into a crib within the next couple of weeks. He's outgrowing everything! He sleeps in a crib at the daycare so it shouldn't be that much of an adjustment for him. I'm excited; for the first time his nursery will actually look like a nursery instead of a mismatched mess!

His next check up is scheduled in 2 weeks. It will be exciting to see how much he is growing compared to other babies his age.

We are so blessed!
