9 Month Check Up

Turner had his 9 month check up on the 11th and he is growing like a weed. He measured at 29 1/4 inches and weiged 22 lbs. 8 oz. No shots, but had to get his blood drawn to see if he is anemic. When we got home the lab from the doctor's office called and said the instrument they use for the testing malfunctioned and Turner will need to go back in for another blood draw. Poor little fella! Only 3 weeks until his surgery and Tanner and I are so anxious. There are alot of mixed emotions, mostly just worrying that he does ok. We just keep thinking positive and can't wait until it's over.
We took Turner to the Holmes County Fair on Saturday. It was alot of fun watching him look at all of the animals and he reached out and petted a sheep. He didn't seem to be afraid of any of the animals and he rode on the carousel and a pony ride. He really enjoyed riding everything. He didn't even hang on through most of the ride. What a daredevil!
