HAPPY holidays!

So the holiday spirit is overwhelming me and I feel like I could skip everywhere I go. The lights outside are so beautiful and I love driving home and seeing everyone's Christmas trees through their windows. Despite the tough year, everyone seems to be smiling and it's so contagious. Yesterday my co-workers collected the gifts for Share-A-Christmas. It is nice to see that even though people don't have alot of extra money this year, they were still able to help those less fortunate and give the impoverished kids of the community a few gifts under the tree from Santa. People really come together for those in need and I think we can all learn alot from that. When I feel stressed about things at home, I just have to take a moment and think about what I have compared to some. Yesterday was a good reality check to let me know that I am truly blessed that we can still provide Turner with clean clothes and toys, the health care that he needs, a good daycare, and the love of a family despite what our checkbook reads at the end of the week. The important bases are covered and it's a good feeling.

Bless you all and don't forget to throw some change in the Salvation Army change pot this weekend. Every little bit counts!
