I saw this on Jakezilla and since I never usually participate in these I thought I'd give it a whirl. Here are ten things you may not know about me, but are true.
- I have been punched in the face by a man . . . on purpose.
- I have had plastic surgery
- I have little knots all over my head so if I ever had to shave my hair off, I'd totally look like people beat my head with sticks.
- I love that my mind is turning 30 but I hate that my body is turning 30 and I'm afraid I might have a mid-life crisis. I feel like a tweener again. I'm over the poor decisions and party life of my twenties, but I'm not ready to join the golf league neither.
- One of my biggest fears is that Turner won't succeed in life because of something I did. That and my fear of spiders . . . I hate those effing things!
- I've always wanted to get into a knock-down drag-out fist fight, just to see what I'm capable of and how long I would last. I'd probably wear myself down within the first 30 seconds and have to call a time-out. (Hey, it's my fight I can do what I want.)
- One of my high-school teachers used to call me when his wife was out of town and invite me over. I never went.
- I think about having a career helping kids. I cry almost every time I hear about kids that have to go without or that are abused and neglected. I also cry when I see a happy handicapped kid in real life or on TV. I always thought I would have a paraplegic child because I have a very special place in my heart for those kids. Plus, they aren't handicapped enough that they still can't move out of the house when they are old enough.
- My husband is the first person that has ever made me comfortable enough to be myself. I am more myself around him than when I'm around my Mom, my sisters, or any of my best friends. When I first met him, I knew he was special and good and different. I would have been a total dumbass to let him go.
- I decided to remove one of my truths because it upset the hubby. If you read my blog before 8 p.m. then you saw it. After 8? Sorry, you missed it and it won't be back for the sake of saving face.
Ok, now it's your turn. Don't be shy.

I love this! Who knew you were so interesting outside of being a mom!
Now I want more details, but I think you should save them for a novel!
Thanks for playing!
Also, my word verification is "under". I don't think I've ever had a real word before.
I too would love to get into a real fight just to see if I could hold my own. But I don't think I have a high enough pain tolerance. And thank god for awesome husbands. Too bad I didn't get to read this before 8!
