Steinbauer Supper

This is one of my favorites even though I'm not a huge meat fan and I dislike vegetable soup. Good recipe for the guys who need tricked into eating healthier. Hearty and good!

Biscuit Topped Beef
Prep Time: 20 min.
Cooking Time: 20 min
Cost: Around $15

Grocery List:
97% Lean Ground Beef
Small container of Fat Free Sour Cream
7 oz. can of Mushrooms
1 container of Pillsbury Reduced Fat Buttermilk Biscuits
1 small Onion
Salt
Pepper
Milk
Parsley Flakes
Garlic Powder
10.5 oz. can of Low Sodium Vegetable Soup

Directions:
Preheat oven to 375.
Brown beef with minced onion, 1 tbsp. parsley, and 1/2 tsp. of garlic powder.
Stir in 1 tsp. salt, 1/2 tsp. pepper, mushrooms, and soup.
Simmer 15 minutes.
Blend in 1 c. sour cream and 1/2 c. milk.
Heat thoroughly, but do not boil.
Place in baking dish.
Top with biscuits and bake 17 - 20 minutes or until biscuits are golden.

MMMmmm.

this sounds delicious and exactly like something Nunz and i would love. i am a big fan of beef. thanks for posting this! can't wait to give it a shot (and seems like something easy enough even i can't mess it up)!
