Have you ever had one of those days where every single thing goes right? I did. Today actually.
I'm trying to avoid my pessimistic side that's telling me I'll pay for it by getting fired on Monday or get a flat tire or something. Things being really good make me paranoid. . . but I'm putting it out of my head right now and focusing on how great my day was today.
I slept in a little.
Turner woke up in a great mood and didn't kick my guts out while I changed/dressed him.
Turner didn't cry when I dropped him off at daycare.
Easy day at work.
Left work early to finish some homework at school.
Dinner was made when I got home and it was delicious.
Went to the local ice cream parlor for dessert. Yum!
We played at a local park to burn off the sugar rush.
I gave Turner a 4-wheeler ride while Tanner finished mowing. We made a game of it, "Chasing Daddy." We pretended we were sneaking up on him and then would zoom by. Turner loved it.
Bathtime didn't bring out any tears from Turner. Both going into the tub and getting out were seamless.
Turner snuggled on my lap as I read him a book, then Tanner took over.
It's Tanner's night to put Turner to bed.
Now I'm preparing to slip into some comfy pj's and curl up with my book until I can't keep my eyes open anymore.
Goodnight.
