That smells good . . . can I try some?

We took Turner to an Akron Aeros game last night and the Holmes County Fair last week. The smell of vinegar french fries and cotton candy makes me melt. I don't like to eat cotton candy, but the smell . . . heavenly.


If it wasn't too little girlish, I would wear cotton candy scented perfume. and lip gloss. and deodorant.


In a book I was reading, the main character had a signature smell that everyone knew. It made me want a signature smell. After I'm long gone, I would like Turner to smell something every once in a while and think of me. A scent like roses or something floral and fresh. Deep down I know it will never happen. I change up my perfume, body spray, shampoo, etc. way too much.
Here is what is currently on my bathroom shelf:


Coconut Milk Shampoo and Conditioner
Citrus smelling lotion
Olive leaf and pink pepper deodorant
Citrus body spray OR
Ed Hardy perfume in the occasion I skip the first 2 items on the list.


I remember when I was pre-pubescent girl realizing that shaving, deodorant, and bras were in my near future, I approached my mom with my list of needs. The closest thing I got to having anything with fragrance was my Baby Powder scented Lady Speed Stick and Love's Baby Soft body spray. Eventually, I was able to convince her to purchase me a bottle of Electric Youth and a stick of Berry Blast Teen Spirit. The Teen Spirit Kurt Cobain certainly was not singing about. or was he?

Back in the day it was so much easier when we were all changing in the locker room or at a slumber party to check out everyone's deodorants, lotions, and sprays. That sort of  stuff was passed around and tried on and stolen if it was any good.
I miss those days.
