Let's blog shall we?

So after reading a few blogs, I realize I chince on the info and my blog postings are pretty generic. Going forward I'm going to try to put a little more thought and energy into my postings all without getting fired, divorced, a visit from Children's Services, or disowned from my family.

Here it goes . . .

I'll ease into things by what our little boy has been up to lately. Outside of his 1 year check-up Turner has been continuing to grow like a weed! He's definitely getting taller and I've finally been able to stop cuffing most of his pants.

Here are Turner's Top Ten for the week:

1. He hates getting his diaper changed and chooses to make it a wrestling match every time.

2. He is really enjoying hiding things, but almost immediately has to remove them from the hiding spot. He also stares at the spot where it's hidden until he removes it. Note to self: Work on Turner's trickery.

3. He loves climbing on things, but has yet to figure out that the closer you get to something, the easier it is to step on it. For example, he loves climbing on his little truck but lifts his leg to get on it when he sees it instead of when he's near it. I have the same problem when I have to pee really bad and see a toilet; sans the leg lifting.

4. He has 4 totes full of toys, yet every night chooses to play with a potato and our recycleables.

5. He is learning to eat with a spoon but has also figured out that it makes a good food launcher.

6. He definitely favors his right hand.

7. His bath is now done in a real bathtub instead of the infant tub to accommodate all of his bath toys.

8. He is growing more hair and it looks like it's coming in stick straight and as white as can be.

9. He shakes his head no when he doesn't want something and has begun pointing.

10. Last, Turner is now waving hello and bye-bye. It's so cute because he has to watch his hand as he makes the motion.

That's all I've got for now, but stay tuned and thanks for checking in!
