One Year Check Up

Turner's one year check-up went really well on Monday. He weighs 24.5 lbs. (he's actually lost 4 lbs since surgery!) and he is 31 inches long. In comparison, Turner weighs more than 69% of boys his age and is taller than 81% of the boys his age. We never thought we'd have a tall kid! We're enjoying it while we can because it may taper off eventually. He had to get 4 shots which really sucked. I had to hold him and he screamed so hard that it was silent. It almost made me cry! Fortunately, I packed a Dum Dum sucker for him and it made everything instantly better. We are getting our first family portrait done on Saturday and I'm hoping it turns out good. Tanner has been able to work a full week this week so that's good news. It's amazing what you take for granted sometimes. Work has been getting better as the week has gone on, it's not as hectic today and I'm so thankful!
