Sicky Poo Turner

This week has been filled with tons of emails and phone calls between Tanner and I, daycare, and the pediatrician. Turner has been throwing up and peeing out of his butt for 4 days. According to the doc, he caught a viral infection and suggested we treat it with Pedialyte (which Turner hates) and Yobaby Yogurt. I almost couldn't bring myself to buy the yogurt due to it's incredibly corny name, but for the sake of saving my son I threw down my 5 bucks and rushed home to cuddle and nurture. We are waiting for all of this to pass, but 4 days seems like a long time. I keep pumping myself full of my multivitamin and any other herbal supplement in our med storage. Tanner and I have exhausted all of our time off of work due to sickness, surgery, etc. so any time we are home during the week is one less bill getting paid. Although, I have to admit going to work is alot easier than being home with a sick baby, hands down. Send a little prayer our way so Turner gets better; soaking poopy clothes every night hasn't been the greatest on the appetite. This is coming from a person who purchased latex gloves for diaper changes above all other baby items when I found out I was pregnant. After this week, who's lauging now Tanner . . .who's laughing now. For those of you with weak stomach's stop reading here. Let me put it this way, I'll never look at peanut butter the same. Not good since I hear the word Jif atleast once a day and I just puked a little thinking about it.

Next item of business. Thanksgiving is next week and we have a general idea of our whereabouts. We'll be on the road again this year heading north for our annual visit to Turner's great-grandparent's house. The day after Turkey Day we'll be at my mom's doing a round 2 of foods we try not to indulge in all year. Either way, I'm not slaving away in the kitchen over new recipes I hope people will enjoy. Yay!

I'd like to give thanks to all people that open their homes to families and friends, serve great meals, clean up after them, and pretend to enjoy their company. You deserve a big fat bonus in my book!

Last, but not least . . . here is a pic of Turner with his OREO goatee. Amazingly, he felt well enough to eat OREO pudding, but not his dinner. Hmmmm . . .
