I've got a ton of topics I could blog about today but I'm limited on time so this made the top of the list. I got home yesterday and Tanner said daycare sent home a form with Turner and I needed to take a look at it. It was an Incident Report! Evidentally Turner got in a fight yesterday over a toy. He's been bad at taking toys from the other kids (in his defense, they are all doing it) and yesterday he picked the wrong kid. He picked "The Biter." I guess it happened like this:
Turner went for the toy
The Biter resisted
Turner challenged him back
The Biter bit
Turner cried
The daycare lady heard the crying and looked to them
The daycare lady had to pry The Biter's mouth off Turner's forearm.
Turner was hugged and the arm was iced
The Biter was put on lockdown in his crib
I feel bad that Turner got hurt, but to be completely honest I feel worse for "The Biter" because it was total self-defense. The bite didn't break skin or even bruise, that's good.
Lesson: Take the toys from the smaller weaker kids that don't have teeth yet.
Kidding!
Turner needs to learn to share but that will be a difficult one since he doesn't have any sibs. Maybe we can practice at home with the remote; he's always trying to take it out of Tanner's hands. I've been there. I've learned I'll never win the remote control war with Tanner and it's easier to find something else to do . . .like poison food.
