Got to the hospital.
Mom was in a holding room.
No transfusion.
She had refused it knowing they couldn't do a surgery without it.
No transfusion = No hysterectomy = No recovery
The surgeon inserted a Novum ring to stop the hemhorraging.
It'll buy 2 - 3 months.
What's next?
I guess we all just wait and see.
I'm so frustrated.
We can't understand why someone wouldn't try to fix the problem opposed to keeping parts she doesn't need or use.
Is it pride?
Ignorance?
Fear?

Jen, I am so sorry! I can't understand that at all.
Thinking of you. Hang in there.
Wow, that's a tough pill to swallow...if you want to talk, I'm always here!
It's hard when someone doesn't make the decision you would make for them, that the doctors would make for them, that anyone would make for anyone.
Love your mom right now with all your heart, respect her decisions and wishes, and enjoy the time you spend with her- be it 3 months or 300, every moment is precious.
I will be thinking of you and your family.
