Is is just me, or has this week been d-r-a-g-g-i-n-g? Holy crap.
I had a massage appointment on Monday. Not for me. No, I was the one giving the massage. It's ok though because it was a friend from the past and it's always fun catching up. Plus, she makes an AMAZING cup of joe with her fancy-pantsy coffee-maker. Sure beats the hell out of my little Coffeemate I've been keeping alive for the last 10 years.
I went and got my hairs did last night, yeah! There is something about having someone else wash my hair that makes me feel great. I got a few inches trimmed off and the color has been touched up. Good as new! I'm questioned alot on when I'm going back to blonde and it's going to be awhile. I really like having dark hair. I don't feel so obligated to smile and be in a cheery mood. (jk) The only complaints I have is that it's pretty high-maintenance because of the drastic color difference in my re-growth and the color in my eyebrows only stays for a couple of weeks. I don't know about you, but I'm not an eyebrow pencil fan so I go 2 1/2 weeks with light eyebrows. I'm sure it looks like poop so thanks for not criticizing me about it. Maybe I should invest in a brow pencil since I think this color is going to stick around for awhile.
Tonight will be the first night since Sunday that I will be arriving home before 7:30 p.m. It's my turn to make dinner and I've got a pile of things on my to-do list. We'll see how much I get accomplished because my motivation right now says I go home and do as little as possible until bedtime. I hope I get a second wind or something when I get there.
We don't have much planned for the rest of the week. Tanner is getting his hair cut tonight. The guy has been looking for a new style and just can't find one he likes. I've made suggestions, but his hair is really coarse and doesn't stand up very well. I'm hopeful that eventually he and his stylist will figure it out. As long as he doesn't shave his head, we're good. Btw, that's our mutual hair agreement. Outside of shaving the head, anything goes. Fortunately, he's conservative.
I'm having dinner guests over on Saturday night and haven't even planned the meal. I'm kind of freaking about it. Does anyone have any suggestions? I was thinking about making a Mexican dish, but nothing beats authentic so that's out . . .pasta might not be ideal since they seem like the red meat and potato type. No ham or turkey since the holidays gave everyone their fix. What's left?
I know, Hamburger Helper! Perfect! LOL!
No seriously, meal suggestions would be awesome.

I had to listen to Nunz last night, tell me how he wants to grow out his hair and get a stylist. I could care less what he does with his hair...long as it ain't a mullet. I actually prefer the shaved look on him...but that's a teenie bit cold in the winter ;)
I like your hair dark. It looks great...but I know it's a lot of maintenance, which kinda sucks.
Hmm...meat and potato people, eh? So are we. Steaks are kinda expensive. Beef and noodles dish? That's a hit at our house if you need the recipe. I actually got it from Nela. When I have people over, I go right for the pizza menu...lol.
